The YMCA was developing a large new location in South Meridian, known as YMCA on the hill.  The YMCA is surrounded by a large park called Hillsdale.  The YMCA wanted a branded package that was corporate for the building but also paid homage to the farmers that donated the land for the park.  The project involved a number of large way-finding pieces, a unique lit logo on the 2 story monolith, several branded flyer holders and very cool exterior signs.

I got to work with public artist Stephanie Inman for the park signs.  It was fun developing her concepts into real life.  The cow in the pictures is made of 1/4″ steel and weighs around 700 lbs!

The interior elements of the building were a mix of incorporating existing YMCA elements and developing new innovation for a unique look.  The project was a hit and the facility has been thriving ever since grand opening.
